  9.     Streamer is a shoutcast player. It lets you listen to MPEG
  10. files over the Internet. There are many players out there, but
  11. this one has some unique features:

  13. - Supports Shoutcast server clusters. If the first server is busy,
  14. streamer will try the next, until no more servers are left in the
  15. list.
  16. - Written in C for fast execution. Only 45K of code!
  17. - Can open on custom screens.
  18. - Lets you see the stream's webpage. (Requires OpenURL.library)
  19. - Small, yet powerful GUI with interactive buttons.
  20. - Allows you to save the stream to your hard disk, for later
  21. playback.
  22. - Saves playlists to the hard disk.
  23. - Can stop and re-start playback.
  24. - Written with web browsers in mind.

  26. v1.08 can start with no arguments, this way you can choose a playlist
  27. file with a file requester. It can save playlists to disk as well.
  28. It will display an icon for ShoutCast, and a different one for other
  29. web servers. There were also some performance enhancements, and the
  30. problem with some servers crashing streamer should be fixed.
